Israeli Lawyer Charged With Contacting Foreign Agent, Obstructing Justice

The State Prosecutor's Office has filed an indictment against an Israeli citizen, identified as a lawyer, in the Central District Court in Lod. She is accused of contacting a foreign agent and obstructing justice. The court granted a request from security agencies, permitting the release of limited information regarding the case. Approximately two weeks prior, the lawyer was detained for questioning by the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) and Israeli police on suspicion of committing offenses against state security.
