Israeli Counter-Terror Unit Arrests Fatah Operative in West Bank Village
Israeli special forces, operating under the guidance of the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency), conducted a raid in the village of Qalil in the Samaria region overnight Wednesday. The forces, identified as undercover Border Police (MAGAV) officers specializing in counter-terrorism operations, targeted a wanted Fatah operative suspected of advancing terror activities against security forces.
The "Mista'arvim" unit, known for its deep cover tactics, infiltrated the village and surrounded the building where the suspect was located. They employed a "pressure cooker" procedure, a tactic involving surrounding and isolating a target until surrender. Following the procedure, the wanted individual emerged and surrendered to the Israeli forces.
The arrested operative was taken into custody and transferred to the Shin Bet for further interrogation and investigation regarding his alleged terror activities.
