Israeli Forces Arrest Senior Palestinian Security Officer in West Bank Raid
Israeli undercover forces, known as "Mista'arvim," operating under the command of the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency), apprehended a wanted Palestinian Authority security official overnight in the village of Kafr Qallil, near Nablus. The operation involved the Mista'arvim entering the village covertly and surrounding a compound where the suspect was located. They implemented a "pressure cooker" procedure, a tactic used to compel a suspect's surrender. Following this, the wanted individual emerged from the structure and gave himself up to the Israeli forces.
According to Palestinian sources, the arrested individual is Majdi Amer, a senior officer in the Palestinian Preventive Security Service, holding a rank equivalent to a colonel in the Israeli military.
