Israeli Police Special Forces Capture Fatah Operative in Balata
Israeli Police special forces, "Gideonim 33," apprehended a member of the "Tanzim" terrorist group in Balata, east of Nablus, on the evening of September 16. The operation was conducted in collaboration with the "Shomron" brigade and the Shin Bet security agency.
According to police, undercover officers raided Balata and located the suspect in a building. The individual, approximately 35 years old and a resident of Kafr Qallil village, is alleged by police to be a "Tanzim" activist with access to weapons.
When security forces arrived, the suspect attempted to flee and resisted arrest. Officers fired at his legs, wounding him before he was apprehended. He has since been transferred to the Shin Bet for further investigation.
