The Yacht opens in Herzliya marina after NIS 1 billion investment

The Yacht, a new Fattal Limited Edition hotel, has opened on a small island in Herzliya’s marina, almost cut off from the shore and surrounded by water. Fattal says it cost about NIS 1 billion to build and is one of the most significant luxury hotels to open in Israel in the past two decades.

The property has 325 rooms and suites, including about 85 suites. Most face the sea or marina, while some have open balconies or look onto a green inner courtyard with two large pools. Room categories include garden suites with private pools facing the marina, bow suites with panoramic sea views, luxury suites and a presidential suite for VIP guests.

The hotel was designed by architect Ilan Pivko, with Amir Tzoref, Eliran Dahan and Shlomi Zalkind. Its yacht-inspired design uses white, natural wood and blue tones, and the hotel also features commissioned works by five Israeli creators, including a 18-meter walnut bar by Gal Gaon, a 32-meter mural by Gur Inbar, large works by Miriam Cabessa, a lighting installation by Tzach Cohen, and a custom blue-marble reception desk by Pivko.

Published prices on Fattal’s website start at NIS 4,600 for two nights on a July weekend in a 25-square-meter deluxe room, and rise to NIS 21,600 for the 92-square-meter Captain Suite. Dining includes the MARÉE seafood-inspired restaurant, the SKIPPER’S BAR lobby bar, Club Marin, and Riviera, with culinary direction by veteran chef Eitan Mizrahi and Avi Biton and his Popolare partners. The hotel also has a 50-meter pool, rooftop areas on the fourth and seventh floors, the HORIZON events hall for up to 400 people, a spa with seven treatment rooms, and a kids’ club. Fattal co-CEOs Assaf Fattal and Nadav Fattal said the hotel offers a new kind of Israeli hospitality and should become a major destination.
