לקראת יום הכיפורים, בית חב"ד פתח קמפיין לגיוס תרומות עבור מצוות פדיון כפרות. הקמפיין מאפשר לציבור הרחב לתרום כסף למצוות פדיון כפרות, אשר יבוצעו על ידי בית חב"ד. התרומות ישמשו לכיסוי עלויות ביצוע המצווה, וכן לתמיכה בפעילות בית חב"ד.

מצוות פדיון כפרות נהוגה בערב יום הכיפורים, והיא כוללת אמירת פסוקים מיוחדים ותנועת תרנגולת מעל הראש, המסמלת העברת החטאים לשנת החיים הבאה. לאחר מכן, התרנגולת נשחטת ונמסרת לצדקה. בית חב"ד מציע דרך נוחה לתרום למצווה זו, גם למי שאינו יכול לבצע אותה בעצמו.
