סגן השר חבר הכנסת אלמוג כהן מהליכוד העריך כי גוש הימין בראשות ראש הממשלה בנימין נתניהו יזכה ב-65 מנדטים בבחירות הקרובות. כהן הביע את דעתו בערב השקת קמפיין הליכוד, בשיחה עם 'כיכר השבת'.

במהלך הריאיון, תקף כהן בחריפות את עופר וינטר, ששמו עלה כמועמד אפשרי לתפקיד בכיר במערכת הביטחון. כהן לא פירט את הסיבות לתקיפתו, אך הביע עמדה נחרצת נגדו.
