כוחות הביטחון עצרו את העיתונאית נקאא' חאמד, המשדרת מטעם ערוץ PressTV של המשטר האיראני, במחסום סמוך ליישוב תקוע שבדרום מזרח בית לחם. המעצר מגיע לאחר שבועות של דיווחים על הסתה מצד מתנחלים נגד העיתונאית.

על פי הדיווח, חאמד, הממומנת על ידי המשטר האיראני, הייתה חלק ממנגנון תעמולה סביב אירועים שונים באזור, כולל אירועי קוסרה ו"הבתים הנצורים". גורמים ישראלים הביעו שביעות רצון מהמעצר וציינו כי סיוע לאויב האיראני בשעת מלחמה עלול לגרור עונשים כבדים, כולל מאסר ממושך.
