Palestinian-American Journalist Working for Iranian Channel Arrested Near Bethlehem
Palestinian-American journalist Nakaa Hamed, a reporter for Iran's Press TV, was arrested by security forces near Bethlehem. Palestinian and Iranian reports indicate the arrest occurred at a makeshift checkpoint set up near the settlement of Tekoa, southeast of Bethlehem. The arrest follows alleged direct attacks against Hamed by settlers in recent weeks. It was also noted that she was the target of an incitement campaign in Israel due to her coverage of events in the village of Qusra.
