כוחות הביטחון עצרו את העיתונאית הפלסטינית-אמריקנית נקאא חאמד, המשמשת כתבת עבור ערוץ הטלוויזיה האיראני presstv. על פי דיווחים פלסטיניים ואיראניים, המעצר התרחש במחסום מאולתר שהוקם בסמוך ליישוב תקוע, דרומית-מזרחית לבית לחם. המעצר מגיע על רקע טענות על "סדרת תקיפות ישירות נגד העיתונאית מצד מתנחלים בשבועות האחרונים". בנוסף, צוין כי חאמד הייתה "יעד לקמפיין הסתה בישראל" בעקבות סיקור אירועים בכפר קוסרה.
