נציב כבאות והצלה לישראל, רב-טפסר אייל כספי, חתם על צו המאריך את איסור הדלקת האש בשטחים פתוחים עד סוף ספטמבר 2026. ההחלטה התקבלה בשל תנאים קיצוניים המעלים את הסבירות להתרחשות דליקות.

הצו חל על כל שטח ישראל, למעט אזורים ספציפיים בדרום הארץ, הכוללים את השטח שמדרום לכבישים 25 ו-34, מכביש יד מרדכי, דרך נחל עוז ועד צומת הערבה.

האיסור מתייחס להדלקת אש בשטחים פתוחים ולעבודות טכניות היוצרות הבערה או אש. עם זאת, מותר להבעיר אש במתקנים ייעודיים להכנה או לחימום אוכל, כמו מנגל, בכפוף להוראות הצו.
