Israeli Forces Conduct Widespread Raids, Arrests Across West Bank and Jerusalem

Israeli military forces launched extensive raids and searches across multiple areas in the West Bank and Jerusalem on Thursday. The operations, which began early morning, involved confrontations, arrests, and detentions, with soldiers searching homes, damaging property, and interrogating residents for hours.

In the Ramallah governorate, the army raided the village of Al-Mughayyir, northeast of the city. Simultaneously, a settler, under military protection, attacked a home in the village, reportedly attempting to steal sheep. Israeli forces also detained several children inside the home of the family of the late Khalil Abu Alia, who was killed by Israeli forces in the village.

Raids extended to Nablus governorate, including the city of Nablus, the Sama Nablus area, and the towns of Qusra, Sebastia, and the village of Asira al-Qibliya. During the operation in Nablus city, forces detonated a lathe. In Sebastia, northwest of Nablus, the army arrested the mother and sister of prisoner Qutaiba Azem. In Asira al-Qibliya, forces arrested Nidal Khalid Asayra and youth Kanaan Mohammed Ahmed. Operations also continued in Duma, southeast of Nablus, and in Jericho and its refugee camps.

In Jerusalem, Israeli forces raided the towns of Al-Ram and Anata, north of the city. The Hebron governorate also saw raids, with forces entering the city of Dura and arresting journalist Rami Nofal from Idna, west of the governorate. In As-Samu, south of Hebron, army and police forces raided a house near the Yaffa school in the Khalayleh neighborhood as part of ongoing operations in the governorate.
