CCTV Captures Moment Child, 10, Was Lured Away in Bnei Brak

Security footage has emerged showing the moments leading up to the abduction of 10-year-old Yahli Sabtai, who was reported missing on Monday evening and later found safe in Bnei Brak. The video depicts a suspect approaching the child in a playground, convincing him to leave, and then departing with him. Yahli, a resident of Petah Tikva, had been missing since Sunday evening.

Police launched an extensive search operation involving technological resources after receiving the initial report. Officers from the Bnei Brak station, guided by the investigation, located Yahli with a 20-year-old suspect, a resident of Jerusalem. Both were brought to the police station, and the suspect was arrested. Investigators stated the suspect used a minor's phone, made a call, deleted the number, and told the child, "Let's go together to get money from someone."

This incident follows a reported attempted abduction of an 11-year-old girl in Ramat HaSharon last month. In that case, a driver with an Arabic accent allegedly signaled the girl to enter his vehicle while threatening her. The girl fortunately escaped and immediately reported the incident to the police and local security forces, who initiated an investigation and searches.
