Boy, 10, Found Safe After Alleged Abduction by 20-Year-Old

A 10-year-old boy named Yahli, from Petah Tikva, was found safe in Bnei Brak after being reported missing and suspected of abduction. Security footage shows Yahli leaving a neighborhood playground with a 20-year-old Jerusalem resident, who is now the suspect in the case. The suspect was arrested by police.

Police received a report that Yahli had been missing since the evening. Extensive searches were conducted, leading officers to find the boy in Bnei Brak with the older man. Both were brought to the Petah Tikva station, where the suspect was detained on suspicion of kidnapping. The motive and circumstances surrounding the incident are still under investigation.

Yahli's mother described the ordeal, stating that she knew he wasn't at a friend's house by 10 PM, which was unusual. She recounted that Yahli told her the suspect, who initially scared a group of children, then manipulated him into helping him raise money. According to the mother, the suspect bought Yahli pizza and played with him until late at night. She expressed relief that her son was found but is awaiting further investigation into whether anything more serious occurred.
