Customer Stabs Bank Employee in Tel Aviv Branch, Condition Moderate

A 45-year-old female employee at a Mizrahi Bank branch in Tel Aviv was stabbed this morning and sustained moderate injuries. The incident was reported at 11:00 AM to Magen David Adom emergency services, who dispatched paramedics to the scene on Derech Shlomo street. The woman was evacuated to Wolfson Hospital in Holon for further treatment.

Shortly after the stabbing, police officers from the Jaffa station apprehended the suspect, a 67-year-old man, on Salameh Street in Tel Aviv. The knife used in the attack was found on his person. According to police updates, the motive behind the stabbing is criminal in nature, and the suspect is believed to be mentally unstable.

Noa Ben Tal, a paramedic from United Hatzalah who arrived first at the scene, reported that the victim was injured due to violence and received initial medical aid before being transported to the hospital. The victim's condition is currently classified as moderate.
