Beitar Jerusalem Captain Jordan Shua Set to Play Against Maccabi Netanya as Sarna Transfer Talks Progress

Beitar Jerusalem's captain, Jordan Shua, participated in a nearly full training session on Tuesday and is expected to be included in the squad for the upcoming Saturday match against Maccabi Netanya. Jordan Cohen remains doubtful for the game, while Sean Weisman has recovered from injury and is fit to play.

Regarding transfer negotiations with Alexis Sarna from Independiente Medellín, the gap between the clubs has narrowed but no final agreement has been reached yet. Beitar Jerusalem aims for the Colombian club to lower both the loan fee and the purchase option price to finalize the deal. Currently, Beitar is willing to offer around 150,000 euros for the loan with an option to buy at 300,000 euros. Independiente Medellín has reduced their initial demand of 800,000 euros for the option to just over 500,000 euros. Both sides are expected to continue talks today, with hopes that further efforts will close the deal soon.

The coaching staff is focused on securing Sarna, considering him their top priority. However, if negotiations fail, Beitar plans to pursue other players, though Sarna remains the preferred choice from a professional standpoint.
