Exclusive: Behind the Scenes of Omer and Sasha Adam's Wedding Preparations in Portofino Monastery

Israeli singer Omer Adam and his wife Sasha are preparing for their grand wedding celebration at the historic Cervara Monastery in Portofino, Italy. Although the couple legally married in a private ceremony earlier, the main event is scheduled for Wednesday, August 26, 2026. A Mako reporter on site captured exclusive footage of the elaborate preparations, including a large stage, a lavish chuppah, and a dance floor where guests have already begun rehearsing.

The monastery, dating back to the 14th century, is set against the picturesque Italian Riviera overlooking the Portofino Bay. Among the notable attendees documented are Haredi singer Moti Steinmetz, expected to perform at the ceremony, and Rabbi Shmuel Rabinovitch, the Rabbi of the Western Wall. It is unclear if both traveled with the main group of approximately 150 guests.

Guests arrived earlier on a charter flight featuring an open bar, DJ, and gifts. Among the passengers were Israeli celebrities Aviv Geffen and his wife Sharon Kaufman, Eran and Shay Zahavi, and businessman Harel Weizel. A recording from the flight captured Omer Adam's father, Yaniv Adam, humorously commenting on the wedding expenses and urging guests to behave appropriately, noting the union with a European aristocratic family.

Other arrivals included singer Lior Narkis, the trio "Mah Kashur" (Shalom Michaelshvili, Assi Israelof, and Zion Baruch), and Sasha's glam team, including makeup artist Miriam Shay and hairstylist Idan Bakshi. The wedding festivities are anticipated to continue with great fanfare at the monastery, blending tradition with a lavish celebration.
