Suspect Arrested After Lawyer Arbel Feldman Is Fatally Shot in Office

Arbel Feldman, a lawyer in Rishon Lezion, was fatally shot in his office earlier this month, allegedly by a 24-year-old client, Ahmad Al-Rajoub from Ramla. The suspect reportedly believed Feldman owed him 15,000 shekels. Feldman's law partner urgently called the police after the shooting, but medical teams declared Feldman dead at the scene.

Newly released police footage shows Al-Rajoub during an initial interrogation about two hours after the murder. When asked by investigators about the incident, Al-Rajoub appeared calm and later asked, "Is he dead?" After a brief manhunt on the day of the shooting, Al-Rajoub surrendered to police and confessed to the killing.

In his interrogation with the Central District Police, Al-Rajoub explained that he had been recommended Feldman after a car accident on October 7 and that he had been pursuing compensation of 15,000 shekels for three years. He admitted to arriving at Feldman's office armed and shooting him after a brief exchange. The police have filed a prosecution statement and plan to indict Al-Rajoub for murder in the coming days.
