Suspect Arrested After Lawyer Arbel Feldman Shot Dead in Rishon Lezion Office

Arbel Feldman, a lawyer, was fatally shot in his Rishon Lezion office earlier this month, allegedly by a client who believed Feldman owed him money. The suspect, 24-year-old Ahmad Al-Rajoub from Ramla, surrendered to police shortly after the shooting and later confessed. Feldman's business partner called emergency services urgently from the scene, stating, "Urgent, they shot my partner to death. I hid." Medical teams confirmed Feldman's death at the location.

Police released footage from the initial interrogation of Al-Rajoub, conducted about two hours after the murder. During questioning, the suspect appeared calm and asked, "Is he dead?" Al-Rajoub admitted to shooting Feldman after a dispute over a debt of 15,000 shekels related to a compensation case following a car accident. He said he was recommended Feldman as a "top lawyer" and had been pursuing the payment for three years. On the day of the shooting, he brought a gun to confront Feldman and shot him after a brief exchange.

The police have filed a prosecution statement against Al-Rajoub and plan to indict him for murder in the coming days. The investigation was conducted by the Central District Police (Yam'ar Shfela).
