Tel Aviv's Peace Bridge Westbound Exit to Ayalon North Closes Overnight and Weekend for Upgrades

Netivei Ayalon and Tel Aviv-Yafo Municipality are advancing upgrade works on the Peace Bridge in Tel Aviv. Starting the night of August 23, the westbound exit ramp to Ayalon North (Highway 20) will be closed overnight from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday through Wednesday. From midnight between August 27 and 30, the exit will be fully closed continuously until 5 a.m. Sunday morning. Traffic on Ayalon Highway itself will remain open.

During the works, westbound traffic will be reduced to one lane, and left turns onto Ayalon North will be prohibited. The Peace Bridge will remain open in both directions, and public transportation is expected to operate normally. These changes mainly affect drivers coming from the west who wish to connect to Ayalon North, potentially causing local congestion during peak traffic hours.

Motorists are advised to plan alternate routes due to the exit closure and lane reduction. These upgrades are part of broader infrastructure improvements in the Ayalon area, alongside ongoing work on the KKL Bridge in Tel Aviv, which has also involved recent traffic arrangements and closures nearby.
