Erez Isakov Becomes Owner-Player of Sharon Netanya Football Club, Aims for Promotion

Erez Isakov has officially taken ownership of the Sharon Netanya football club, which competes in Liga Gimel, Israel's fifth division. The acquisition was finalized during the summer break, with Isakov and his family purchasing the club and planning to lead it in the upcoming season with the goal of promotion to Liga Bet. Earlier today, Isakov met with the team's coach, Shlomi Dahan, and players at the club's training facility in Netanya.

In preparation for the season, Isakov underwent thorough medical examinations to renew his player registration, as he will serve both as the club's owner and an active player. During a team meeting, Isakov emphasized his commitment to the club's success, stating that he is not there just to pass time but to help establish Sharon Netanya as a future force in Israeli football. He praised the previous management by the Atiya family, who will continue to be involved in club operations.

Isakov acknowledged that rival teams will likely try to challenge Sharon Netanya but expressed confidence that his team will finish the season undefeated and achieve all set objectives. The club will debut new jerseys featuring the unique inscription "HaIsakovim" (The Isakovs), symbolizing the new era under his leadership.
