Four Teenage Girls Brutally Attack Minor Over Broken Phone in Eilat Park
In Eilat, four teenage girls allegedly assaulted a minor after accusing her of damaging a mobile phone. The incident occurred late at night in a public park where the five girls had been together. The attackers led the victim to a dark alley, confronted her about the broken phone, and physically abused her by hitting, kicking, and pulling her hair. They also confiscated and destroyed her phone to prevent her escape. A passerby intervened and called the police, but the attackers threatened the victim not to report the incident.
The victim sustained severe injuries all over her body. Police collected evidence and testimonies, leading to indictments against two of the suspects, who were released to house arrest despite police requests for detention. The other two suspects’ charges are expected soon. The court also prohibited contact between the accused girls, but they violated this order shortly after release.
One of the accused later assaulted her own mother during a confrontation at home, involving verbal abuse and physical violence. The mother called the police, but the daughter continued her aggressive behavior, demanding money to give to her accomplice. The accomplice tried to help the daughter leave the house during the incident. The case remains under investigation with ongoing legal proceedings.
