Four Teenage Girls Charged in Severe Assault on Minor in Eilat

On August 10, 2026, four teenage girls allegedly assaulted another minor in Eilat, causing bodily injuries. According to police, the suspects initially met the victim in a public park, then moved to a nearby alley after noticing surveillance cameras. There, they confronted her over damage to one suspect's phone, physically attacking her by pushing her into bushes, punching, slapping, and pulling her hair. One suspect confiscated the victim's phone to prevent her escape and threatened, "If we get arrested, today you die." A passerby tried unsuccessfully to intervene, and only after a second bystander called the police did the suspects leave. One suspect also spat at the victim following the threat.

Police youth investigators quickly located and questioned two suspects, while the other two attempted to flee but were arrested the next day in another city. The investigation revealed that one suspect was under house arrest for a separate case and violated her restrictions during the incident. The Eilat police prosecution unit filed indictments against two of the suspects and requested their detention until the conclusion of legal proceedings.
