Teen Injured in Petah Tikva Assault, Suspects Arrested
Several minors were arrested overnight, between Monday and Tuesday, on suspicion of assaulting another minor in Petah Tikva and causing injuries. The victim was taken for medical treatment to Beilinson Hospital.
Police from the Rosh HaAyin station opened an accelerated investigation after receiving a report of violence involving teenagers in the city. According to the suspicion, a group of minors attacked the victim.
Investigators quickly collected evidence and other findings at the scene, which led to the suspects being identified and detained within a short time. All of the suspects are minors.
The suspects are expected to appear in court, where police will request to extend their detention. The investigation is continuing.
