Four Teen Girls Brutally Attack Peer in Isolated Alley in Eilat
In Eilat, four teenage girls orchestrated a violent ambush against a peer known to them, leading her to a secluded alley without security cameras where they brutally assaulted her. The attack, which occurred on the night of August 9-10, was sparked by a dispute over damage to a mobile phone. The victim was beaten repeatedly, pushed into bushes, and had her phone smashed. When bystanders intervened, one of the attackers threatened the victim's life, saying, "If we get arrested, you die today." Two of the suspects were quickly detained in Eilat, while the other two fled but were arrested the next day in another city.
Days after their release under restrictive conditions, two of the girls violated their house arrest orders. One violently attacked her mother with punches, a TV remote, and a keyboard when the mother tried to prevent her from leaving the house. The mother sustained injuries to her shoulder and back. The police filed indictments against the two main suspects, charging them with assault causing injury, threats, and violation of legal orders. Additional charges against the other two girls involved in the alley attack are expected.
The case highlights a pattern of organized and cold-blooded violence among minors, escalating from a planned attack in a public park to further violent incidents during house arrest. The victim suffered facial and back injuries and swelling to her lip. The police continue their investigation and prosecution through the juvenile court system.
