Woman Dies at Soroka Hospital After Fetal Extraction Without Signs of Life
A woman in her 40s, who was 34 weeks pregnant, died due to a rare complication that caused a rapid deterioration in her condition. She arrived at Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba complaining of abdominal pain. As her condition worsened, she was rushed to the operating room where the fetus was delivered without signs of life. The woman was then transferred to the intensive care unit in critical condition and passed away the following day. Soroka Hospital reported that the case has been notified to the Ministry of Health and is currently under investigation.
