Mother of Seven Dies After Sudden Complications in Seventh Pregnancy at Soroka Hospital
A woman in her 40s, pregnant for the seventh time and at 34 weeks gestation, was admitted to Soroka Medical Center due to abdominal pain. Her condition rapidly deteriorated because of a rare complication, prompting an emergency surgery during which the fetus was delivered stillborn. Following the operation, she was transferred in critical condition to the intensive care unit, where medical staff fought to save her life. Despite their efforts, she passed away the next day. Soroka Hospital reported that the case has been notified to the Ministry of Health and is under investigation, expressing condolences to the grieving family.
