Sharon Yini and Karin Sorochinsky Eliminated in Dancing with the Stars Quarterfinals

Sharon Yini and professional dancer Karin Sorochinsky were eliminated from the Israeli version of Dancing with the Stars on Keshet 12 during the quarterfinals held on Wednesday. Their departure was decided by a combination of audience votes and judges' scores from David Dvir, Haim Pashtan, and Anna Aronov. Despite reaching an advanced stage, the pair did not accumulate enough points to proceed to the semifinals.

This season of Dancing with the Stars has been marked by several surprising eliminations and injuries affecting the competition's progress. Recently, Diane Schwartz and dancer Lotem Madmoni withdrew following a combined decision by the judges and viewers. Additionally, singer Eden Golan had to leave the show due to a shoulder injury, tearfully describing it as the hardest farewell she has experienced. Golan, who danced with experienced partner Artyom Liaskovsky, missed two dances, exceeding the format's allowance of missing only one dance before mandatory withdrawal.

As the competition intensifies, the race toward the grand finale scheduled for Wednesday, September 2, continues. The fifth season since the format's return to Keshet 12 has garnered strong ratings and significant viewer interest. Remaining notable contestants include Shiri Maimon, Bar Brimer, Amir Banai, and Noa Cohen, each bringing unique personal stories, such as Cohen's recent revelation about coping with a severe body disorder during the show.
