Bolivian Defender Diego Arce Joins Hapoel Petah Tikva After Arriving in Israel
Diego Arce, a 21-year-old Bolivian central defender currently with Shakhtar Donetsk, arrived in Israel on Wednesday and is set to officially sign with Hapoel Petah Tikva on Thursday. Standing 1.90 meters tall, Arce is valued at approximately 500,000 euros according to Transfermarkt. He joined Shakhtar Donetsk in February 2025 for nearly one million euros, transferring from Bolivar in Bolivia. Arce has made seven appearances for the Bolivian national team and has played twice officially for Shakhtar. Hapoel Petah Tikva, coached by Omer Peretz, will begin their Israeli Premier League season this Saturday with an away match against Ironi Tiberias.
