IDF Eliminates Four Key Hamas Nukhba Commanders in Southern Operation
During an operation by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Southern Command, four senior commanders of Hamas's Nukhba unit from the Beit Lahia battalion were targeted and killed in the Shati area. Among those eliminated was the platoon commander, Muhammad Hamdi Ahmad Al-Masri, who orchestrated terror plans against IDF forces. Additionally, three company commanders were killed: Samir Harb Abu Jabal, who infiltrated Israeli territory on October 7, Muhammad Attar, and Muhammad Fathi Hassin Nasser, all involved in planning and executing attacks against Israeli troops.
The IDF stated that the operation aimed to neutralize the immediate threat these commanders posed to forces on the ground. The military emphasized its commitment to continue actions aligned with agreements to remove all threats in the area.
