IDF Kills Four Hamas Nukhba Commanders in Shati Area Airstrike

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that it killed four commanders of Hamas's elite Nukhba unit from the Beit Lahia battalion in an airstrike in the Shati area on Tuesday. The deceased included a platoon commander and three section commanders, all involved in planning and executing terrorist attacks against Israeli forces. The IDF identified the killed militants as Muhammad Hamdi Ahmad Al-Masri, the platoon commander who advanced terror operations; Samir Harb Abu Jabal, a section commander who participated in the October 7 attack inside Israel; Muhammad Attar and Muhammad Fathi Hassin Nasser, both section commanders involved in orchestrating attacks against the IDF.

The military stated that these commanders posed an immediate threat to Israeli forces, justifying the targeted strike to neutralize the danger. The IDF Southern Command forces remain deployed in the area under existing agreements and will continue operations to eliminate imminent threats. This action is part of ongoing efforts to counter Hamas terror activities in the Gaza border region.
