IDF Kills Four Hamas Nukhba Commanders in Gaza Airstrike
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced the killing of four commanders from Hamas's Nukhba unit in an airstrike conducted yesterday in the Shati area of the Gaza Strip. The targeted commanders belonged to the Beit Lahia battalion of Hamas's military wing. Among those killed was Muhammad Hamdi Ahmad Al-Masri, a platoon commander who was involved in planning terrorist attacks against Israeli forces. Another commander, Samir Harb Abu Jabal, participated in the October 7 massacre during a raid into Israeli territory. The airstrike also eliminated Muhammad Attar and Muhammad Fathi Hassin Nasser, both platoon commanders implicated in orchestrating and executing terrorist operations against IDF troops. The IDF stated that these commanders posed a direct threat to Israeli forces operating in Gaza, and their elimination was aimed at neutralizing this danger. The Southern Command forces remain deployed in the area under existing agreements and will continue efforts to remove any immediate threats.
