Maccabi Tel Aviv Adds Five Players Including Veteran Forward Brandon Edwards for 2026/27 Preseason

Maccabi Tel Aviv announced the addition of five players to their roster as they prepare for the 2026/2027 basketball season. The new signings include four young talents: Tamir Gold, Gabi Artemenko, Rom Stoller, and Nitai Dudu. Alongside these prospects, the team has also signed 34-year-old forward Brandon Edwards, who brings extensive experience from the Israeli National League and other international leagues.

Edwards, standing 2.00 meters tall, played the past two seasons with Hapoel Migdal HaEmek/Yizrael, where he averaged 15.6 points and 7 rebounds per game, including 3.1 offensive rebounds. His career also includes stints with Hapoel Ramat Gan, Galil Elyon, and Elitzur Yavne. Additionally, Edwards has international experience from playing in the Kosovo league with Trepça and in France's second division with Rouen and Denain.
