Maccabi Tel Aviv Adds Five Players Including Veteran Forward Brandon Edwards for 2026/27 Preseason
Maccabi Tel Aviv announced five new players joining the team for the 2026/2027 preseason preparations. The additions include four young talents: Tamir Gold, Gabi Artemenko, Rom Stoller, and Nitai Dudu. Alongside them, 34-year-old forward Brandon Edwards will also join the squad. Edwards, who stands 2.00 meters tall, played the last two seasons with Hapoel Migdal Haemek/Yizrael in the Israeli National League, averaging 15.6 points and 7 rebounds per game, including 3.1 offensive rebounds. His previous experience includes stints with Hapoel Ramat Gan, Galil Elyon, and Elitzur Yavne, as well as playing abroad in Kosovo's league with Trepça and in France's second division with Rouen and Denain. This recruitment aims to strengthen Maccabi Tel Aviv's roster ahead of the upcoming season.
