Jared Kushner Makes Surprise Visit to Jerusalem Hills Kosher Restaurant, Leaves Generous Tip

Jared Kushner, son-in-law of former U.S. President Donald Trump, visited the kosher restaurant "Naya" in the Jerusalem Hills with a delegation of eight people, including former minister and Israeli ambassador to the U.S. Ron Dermer. The restaurant staff received only about 30 minutes' notice of Kushner's arrival, coordinated through the Israeli Foreign Ministry. Kushner and his group were seated in a private room and adjacent outdoor area, with their presence marked by American security personnel and large vehicles, according to Ynet reports.

During the visit, Kushner held a private conversation with Ron Dermer and gave an interview to Fox News from the private room. Regarding the menu, Kushner avoided sushi and chose other dishes, while the rest of the delegation enjoyed various fish and sushi specials. A restaurant employee described Kushner as "very nice and spoke with everyone," noting that he paid with his personal card and left an especially generous tip of over 35 percent, along with a personal thank you to the staff for their hospitality.
