Extreme Heat Returns to Israel with Rising Temperatures Through Weekend
After several days of cooler weather, Israel is set to experience a return of above-average heat with extreme heat burdens across the country in the coming days. On Tuesday, the weather will be partly cloudy to clear, with moderate heat levels relative to the season. Wednesday will see a slight temperature increase, especially in the mountains and inland areas, under partly cloudy to clear skies. Thursday will bring further temperature rises and intensified heat burdens, mainly in the inland and mountainous regions, while the coastal plain will remain cooler. On Friday, temperatures will climb slightly again, remaining above normal for this time of year, particularly inland and in the mountains, with the coastal plain staying mild. By Saturday, temperatures will drop somewhat in the inland and mountainous areas but will still be warmer and drier than usual, with pleasant conditions along the coast. The Meteorological Service has described this as an extremely unusual weather event.
