Two young children were injured in a shooting incident in Beit Shemesh on Emek HaZaytim Street. Medical teams from United Hatzalah are currently performing resuscitation efforts on a six-year-old boy who was critically wounded. Another five-year-old child is also receiving treatment and is in serious condition. According to reports, the children were shot inside their home by a neighbor with a known mental health background. The assailant fled the scene immediately after the attack. Authorities are presumably investigating the incident further as the suspect remains at large.
