Benny Dreyfus Steps Down as CEO of Israel's Mifal HaPais After 6.5 Years

Benny Dreyfus, CEO of Mifal HaPais, Israel's national lottery organization, announced his resignation to the board after serving 6.5 years. The organization did not disclose the reasons for his departure. In the interim, Victor Weiss, the CFO and Vice President of Finance and Economics, has been appointed acting CEO until a permanent replacement is named.

Dreyfus expressed pride and satisfaction in his tenure, highlighting efforts to expand Mifal HaPais's social impact across Israeli communities and local authorities. He noted the organization's rapid response to support Israeli citizens, especially since the outbreak of the recent war. He thanked the board, local leaders, partners, and employees for their collaboration.

Itzik Lari, chairman of Mifal HaPais, praised Dreyfus for his significant public service and leadership, crediting him with strengthening the organization as a key social pillar in Israel. Lari emphasized Dreyfus's role in supporting local authorities both in routine times and during emergencies.
