Father Indicted for Sexual Assault of Minor Daughter in Central Israel

The State Prosecutor's Office has filed an indictment at the Central District Court in Lod against a father from central Israel accused of sexually assaulting his daughter when she was around 14 years old. The charges include incestuous rape and indecent acts. According to the indictment submitted by Attorney Einav Winograd, the father committed the offenses while his daughter was sleeping with her sisters in their home. He allegedly touched her body, kissed her mouth, placed her hand on his genitalia, and raped her. During the assault, he reportedly told her it was better that he did this than another man.

The following day, the father urged his daughter not to disclose the abuse, fearing imprisonment and expressing that he did not want to live. The prosecution requested that the court order his detention until the conclusion of legal proceedings. The court has imposed a gag order preventing the publication of the full indictment, the detention request, and any details that could identify the victim.
