Separately, just days earlier in southern Israel, a wedding convoy caused major traffic disruptions on Highway 40, leading to police intervention. The bride and groom were detained and fined after their convoy deliberately blocked traffic, causing significant congestion and inconvenience to other drivers. Police from the Rotem region responded, halted the disturbance, and took the couple in for questioning at the police station.
