Zvahel Hasidim Celebrate Rebbe’s Yahrzeit and Birth of His 13th Son with Torah Study and Festivities

Hundreds of Zvahel Hasidim gathered over the weekend under the leadership of the Zvahel Rebbe to mark the yahrzeit (hilula) of the previous Rebbe, known as the "Mishnat Shlomo." The event also celebrated the birth of the current Rebbe’s 13th son. The joyous occasion, called "Simchat Shalom Zachar," took place on Friday night in the tish hall adjacent to the main Beit Midrash in Beitar Illit, where the Rebbe’s special table was set in honor of the yahrzeit. The tish extended late into the night, followed by an hour-long period where attendees congratulated the Rebbe.

On Saturday morning, the Rebbe conducted the traditional third meal (Seudah Shlishit) known as the "Atika Kadisha" in the Beit Midrash hall, where all Hasidim gathered around the "King’s table." Rabbi Israel Berzovsky, the esteemed rabbi of the Slonim Hasidim in the city, participated and delivered remarks praising the late Rebbe’s character and his role as a spiritual supervisor at the Slonim yeshiva.

During the third meal, the community held Siyum HaShas ceremonies to mark the completion of Talmud study dedicated to the soul of the Rebbe being commemorated. After evening prayers and Havdalah, hundreds of children from the Hasidic community took part in a "Kriat Shema Leinan" reading event, after which they visited the Rebbe to receive sweets.
