IDF Launches Wave of Strikes in Gaza After Tank Hits Explosive Device
The IDF spokesperson announced that during an operational activity by the combat team of the Givati Brigade in southern Gaza, a tank encountered an explosive device. Fortunately, no IDF soldiers were injured in the incident. In response to the attack on the force, the IDF initiated a wave of strikes across the Gaza Strip. Details regarding the targets or outcomes of these strikes have not yet been disclosed.
In a separate incident, combat forces from the Paratroopers Brigade identified two militants who crossed the "yellow line" and attempted to reach IDF weapons. The militants approached the forces in a manner that posed a threat, leading the soldiers to open fire and neutralize them.
Additionally, the IDF reported an attack in Lebanon following the severe injury of three Israeli soldiers in a Hezbollah drone assault. The IDF strike eliminated Ali Samir Al-Hajj Hassan, a battalion commander in Hezbollah's Radwan Force, along with other militants.
