Man Attacks Worshipper and Security Guard in Antisemitic Assault at New York Synagogue

An antisemitic attack occurred at a synagogue in New York when a suspect forcibly entered during prayer and assaulted a worshipper. The assailant also spat on and headbutted a security guard who tried to restrain him before police arrived and arrested him. Despite the violence, no victims required medical treatment. New York Police Department Chief Jessica Tisch stated the investigation is ongoing and no further threats have been identified, though police presence in the area has been increased as a precaution.
