Bus Driver Collapses While Driving, Crashes into Car Near Pele-Yam Junction
A serious accident occurred on Thursday evening on Road 651 near the Pele-Yam junction when a bus driver in his 50s collapsed and lost consciousness while driving, likely due to a medical condition. As a result of losing consciousness, the bus driver collided with a private vehicle. Paramedics from Magen David Adom (MDA) arrived at the scene and provided medical treatment to the bus driver, who was then rushed to Hillel Yaffe Medical Center in critical condition while undergoing resuscitation efforts. The driver of the private car sustained minor injuries and was also taken to the hospital. No injuries were reported among the passengers inside the bus. Further details are expected to be released.
