Israeli Health Ministry Issues Urgent Recall of 'Alaska' Mineral Water Imported from Palestinian Territories
The Israeli Ministry of Health has issued an urgent recall warning for all mineral water products under the brand "Alaska." The ministry discovered that these products were imported into Israel from the Palestinian Authority territories without the required permits and are not under the ministry's supervision. The recalled products include all sizes and expiration dates of "Alaska, Natural Mineral Water," which undergoes reverse osmosis and ozonation treatment, produced or imported by Ein Asia Mineral Water Company.
The public is strongly advised not to consume these products and to purchase food and beverages only from recognized and authorized distributors. The Ministry of Health's Food Service department will continue efforts to identify cases of food imports into Israel that violate legal requirements or lack necessary approvals. The ministry emphasized that any breach of Israeli legislation and standards will be met with all available enforcement measures in cooperation with relevant authorities.
