Georgi Tsitaishvili, born in November 2000 in Rishon LeZion, Israel, has signed with Spanish La Liga club Rayo Vallecano. He is the son of Klementi Tsitaishvili, a former striker who played in the Israeli Premier League in the early 2000s. Klementi arrived in Israel in the summer of 2000 from Georgia, joining Maccabi Tel Aviv before being loaned to Hapoel Rishon LeZion, where he scored 12 goals in the top division. He also played for Bnei Yehuda and Tzafririm Holon.

Georgi grew up in Dynamo Kyiv's system, spending eight years with the Ukrainian club. During his time there, he was loaned to several teams, including Wisła Kraków in Poland, Granada in Spain, and Metz in France.
