Georgi Tsitaishvili, born in November 2000 in Rishon LeZion, Israel, has signed with Spanish La Liga club Rayo Vallecano. Tsitaishvili, a left-wing midfielder, left Dynamo Kyiv after eight years and multiple loan spells to join Rayo Vallecano on a free transfer. His father, Klementi Tsitaishvili, was a notable striker in the Israeli Premier League during the early 2000s, having played for Maccabi Tel Aviv, Hapoel Rishon LeZion, Bnei Yehuda, and Tzafririm Holon. Klementi arrived in Israel from Georgia in 2000 and scored 12 goals for Hapoel Rishon LeZion in the top division. Georgi grew up in Dynamo Kyiv's system and was loaned to several clubs including Wisła Kraków, Granada, and Metz before his recent move to Spain.
