Former Israeli Border Police Fighter Charged with Sexual Harassment of 14-Year-Old Boy

The Police Investigations Department filed charges yesterday at the Nazareth Magistrate's Court against a 29-year-old man who formerly served as a Border Police fighter in the Shahar Platoon in Jerusalem. He is accused of multiple counts of sexual harassment against a minor under the age of 14. The indictment was submitted by attorney Hila Cohen from the Police Investigations Department following an investigation conducted by the Jerusalem team.

According to the indictment, about two years ago, the accused initiated contact with the minor via Instagram. Their conversations included explicit sexual content, with the accused fully aware of the boy's young age. The man asked if the boy had previously met or had sexual relations with adults, and after the boy denied it, the accused made suggestive remarks. He repeatedly invited the minor to his home, offering to pick him up and give him "whatever he wants."

The indictment details that the accused explained sexual acts and BDSM concepts to the boy, sent messages describing his sexual arousal, and requested photos. The minor informed the accused that he was under 14 and provided his exact birthdate, but the accused continued the sexual conversations. He even proposed a threesome and sought the Instagram details of another minor to join them. They attempted to arrange a meeting, during which the accused mentioned having money specifically for someone aged 14.

Following the investigation, the Police Investigations Department charged the man with several counts of sexual harassment under the Sexual Harassment Prevention Law, aggravated by repeated propositions and focus on the sexuality of a minor under 15.
