Former Border Police Officer Charged with Sexually Harassing Underage Boy on Instagram
The Police Investigations Department filed charges yesterday at the Nazareth Magistrate's Court against a former Border Police officer accused of sexually harassing a minor under the age of 14. The indictment states that the accused, who served as a combatant in the Shahar Platoon of the Jerusalem Border Police, engaged in sexually explicit conversations with the minor via Instagram. The minor explicitly informed the officer that he was under 14 and even provided his birth date. According to the indictment, the officer repeatedly proposed meeting the minor for sexual relations, made sexual offers including promises of financial compensation, and frequently referred to the minor's sexuality during their exchanges.
