Wesley Patache Joins World's Leading Football Agency After Strong Start in Netherlands
Wesley Patache, former Maccabi Tel Aviv player, has made a significant career move by signing with CAA, one of the largest football agencies globally. Patache, 22, has impressed in the early 2026/27 season with AZ Alkmaar, scoring in the Dutch Super Cup against PSV Eindhoven and performing well in the league opener against ADO Den Haag.
CAA represents a vast roster of top-tier football talent, including players like Cole Palmer, Richarlison, and Kingsley Coman, collectively valued at around 1.5 billion euros. The agency also manages numerous coaches, including Brazil's national team coach Carlo Ancelotti.
Patache was initially transferred from Maccabi Tel Aviv for 7.3 million euros, the highest fee ever for a player from the Israeli Premier League. Maccabi Tel Aviv retains a percentage of any future sale. If Patache is sold for 15 million euros after a successful season, Maccabi could earn approximately 1.55 million euros, with potential earnings rising to 2.6 million euros if the transfer fee reaches 20 million euros.
